John Blanton joins AchieveIt as a business development representative, where he is expected to help generate leads for the company’s execution management and strategic planning software platform.

AchieveIt, a leading provider of execution management and strategic planning software, announces the addition of John Blanton to its sales team as the company continues an aggressive expansion into commercial markets. Blanton, a business development representative, will provide front-end sales support to the firm’s account executives.

Blanton comes to AchieveIt from SweetJack, a daily coupon website from broadcasting conglomerate Cumulus Media. While at SweetJack, Blanton served as an account executive in charge of engaging prospective merchants for the company. Blanton is a 2009 graduate of the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University where he received a degree in business management. In addition to being a brother of Kappa Sigma Fraternity, Blanton is a past member of the American Junior Golf Association, as a golfer, Blanton has played in such prestigious tournaments as The Junior Masters and The Golf Pride Classic.
