Emerald Brand, a leader in environmentally friendly office, break room and disposable products for your home and business, has recently committed to giving back to the environment and the community. Through a series of local events and sponsorships, Emerald Brand is highlighting ways to live green and be environmentally responsible.
“We are excited to be able to lend a hand to many worthwhile causes here in the greater New York City area,” said Ralph Bianculli, Jr., LEED Green Associate and Director of Emerald Brand. “Recently we participated in the MillionTreesNYC (http://www.milliontreesnyc.com) event to plant new trees in Alley Pond Park. This event offered an opportunity for all New Yorkers to join together in strengthening our communities—and creating a greener, greater New York. Emerald Brand’s family was able to donate their time and sweat to help this cause. It was an exciting and rewarding event that Emerald Brand was pleased to be a part of and just one of many eco-friendly efforts Emerald Brand is committed to participating in.”
Emerald Brand also recently participated in “Take your child to work day” at Southern Wine & Spirits in April. Through this event, the children of Southern Wine employees had an opportunity to learn firsthand how to become more sustainable. "Emerald Brand is proud to give back to the community,” said Bianculli. “We are excited to get involved, whether through education on how to reduce corporate impact on the environment by using tree-free products or by the simple act of planting a tree. We look forward to participating in more community events where we can share our knowledge of eco-friendly practices. Our goal is to inspire companies and families to become actively involved in reducing their environmental impact.”
