We’re striving to be a community resource and help everyone find the answers they need.
Richmond, VA (PRWEB) May 23, 2013
Experient Health will host a Health Care Reform 101 seminar May 30 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Northumberland & Lancaster County Farm Bureau Office, which is located at 7666 Northumberland Highway in Heathsville, Va.
“It can be confusing trying to understand what to do for yourself, your business and your family as the new regulations under health care reform come online,” said Dayton Wiese, a health care and benefits consultant with Experient Health.
“We’re hoping residents and business owners come with questions – whether they are currently a client we work with or or not. We’re striving to be a community resource and help everyone find the answers they need.”
New health care reform laws that go into effect in 2014 mandate that individuals carry health insurance or, in most cases, pay a fine. Consumers will have to purchase plans with comprehensive benefits that meet minimum coverage requirements.
The seminar is meant to provide an open forum to ask questions about, among other health care reform topics, online marketplaces (formerly referred to as exchanges), tax credits, essential health benefits, pre-existing conditions and network requirements.
