When Teachers Notebook reached out to its teacher shop owners requesting product donations to raise funds for the Moore, OK tornado victims, they hoped to attract a few hundred dollars worth of items that could be sold for around $10.00 with all proceeds benefiting the relief effort. However, the staff at Teachers Notebook were overwhelmed by the response from these dedicated educators when over 200 pledged $1000.00 worth of materials within the first 12 hours of the campaign.

Later today, Teachers Notebook will begin offering the Moore Relief Effort Bundle of educational supplies on its web site. The bundle currently contains over 350 individual teacher created educational resources valued in excess of $1500.00 ideal for classroom or home schooling use with additional materials being contributed every hour. Virtually all subjects and a wide range of grades especially K-6 are covered. Anyone who orders will receive full download access to all the products comprising the final collection.

Debbie Esemplare, co-Founder of Teachers Notebook and a former Kindergarten teacher, reflected, "Teachers reacted to our request for donations with an outpouring of generosity revealing a true glimpse into their hearts. Our family of teachers makes us strong by being connected to and a part of something far bigger than ourselves. We can help to provide hope and show our support for the innocent victims of this devastating event. To that end, we intend to reach out to the Moore school district to offer the brave teachers of both Briarwood and Plaza Towers elementary schools free access to download their own bundle to help replace the materials they lost."

The Moore Relief Effort Bundle can be downloaded from the Teachers Notebook web site for a minimum $20.00 contribution from May 22nd through May 28th with 100% of the proceeds being donated to local relief efforts in Oklahoma and earmarked specifically for the Moore, OK tornado victims. Visit the Teachers Notebook Web site (http://www.teachersnotebook.com/mooreok) to order the bundle.
