LEGOs are simply fun and make perfect math tools.
Dallas, TX (PRWEB) May 27, 2013
LEGOs are perfect for hands on learning. They make great tools for a variety of fun math games ranging from skip counting games, to subtraction, to addition, multiplication and even division games.
Playing skip counting with LEGOs is simple. Let the child go on a shape hunt by finding LEGOs with the correct number of studs on the top. Begin with two studs, four studs, and so on. If the correct number of studs cannot be found, let the child be creative by matching pieces that make up the correct number.
Another fun skip counting game includes a homemade owl math game. Simply follow the instructions to build the owls with using construction paper, cup cake liners, and glue featured on Kids Activities Blog. After making a set of owls, use the owls special features such as set of eyes, feet, toes, wings, etc. to count. The kids will love to make more owls sitting on a branch.
