ThinkGlass just updated their website with a new color scheme, a wider image window and best of all, a great movie on the Homepage. The website still focuses on the many creations and possibilities of ThinkGlass.

New 2013 ThinkGlass Web Site

Mainly known for the creation of glass countertops for the kitchen, ThinkGlass’s glass expertise allows them to create many other innovative glass applications. ThinkGlass is often associated with the kitchen and bath industry, but they also work with Designers, Architects and Contractors on other type of glass applications.

A few examples: outdoor monuments 10-feet tall and 4-inches thick, glass treads with no lamination lines and amazing polished edges, vanities with integrated sinks, artistic doors with a range of colors and textures.

Frequent users of the site will not feel lost on the new site, even if the way the pages are navigated has changed. Some sections, like the LED one, were relocated to the accordion style menus found on almost all pages.

Some new sections have appeared:

  •     Latest Projects for the latest applications installed and photographed
  •     Landscape for those outdoor projects that will certainly interest the Architects and Landscape artists.

The new look and restructuring of the website was done in order to help the visitors to quickly find the latest projects and answers for their questions.

The new video was released last week on YouTube and incorporated into the new design. As visitors land on the homepage, the video starts and a short story is played out around beautiful glass countertops. The video captures the fact that the kitchen is not only a place for cooking anymore; it is an important social room just like the living room. People love to interact and exchange while preparing, cooking or eating food standing up amongst friends.

The new ThinkGlass video will open up the way people see the kitchen, and our relationship with this room of our house. It also shows how spectacular glass countertops are at any time during the day, how easy it is to clean and the fabulous look they have when they are paired with LED lights.

The ThinkGlass story began in 1999 in an empty room under the leadership of two creative individuals who were passionate about beautiful glasswork. Today, the company is one of the most successful glass design and manufacturing studios in the world with a shop that encompasses more than 30,000 square feet, 27 employees and 21 state-of-the-art, custom made ovens. ThinkGlass is still headed by its two original founders – glass master Michel Mailhot who is the artistic soul of the company, and Bertrand Charest, a certified engineer and company president. Together with their talented team, they produce all manner of glass masterpieces, from residential kitchen to bath- room vanity countertops and backsplashes to fantastical sculptures, wall murals and floor tiles, and even large-scale commercial projects for restaurants, nightclubs and offices.

ThinkGlass quickly became a leader in the thermoforming industry by pioneering a versatile technique that allows the creation of new or repetitive textures. This process allows the creation of glass slabs with-out thickness constraints opening the door to all kinds of design possibilities. All ThinkGlass creations are made from 100% recyclable glass using sustainable practices and without the use of any adhesive or sealant potentially containing harmful volatile organic compounds (VOCs).
