Miami, FL (PRWEB) May 24, 2013
Manchester Business School Miami Center has signed a lease agreement with Wells Fargo Center that will provide the school with 1,000 more square feet -- a total of 4,419. MBS Miami will use the square footage at 333 SE 2nd Ave #2500 Miami, Fla., for additional classrooms, breakout and staff space.
Regional Director Melissa Holland said of the move, which should be completed in mid-August, “The lease is long-term, so it reiterates our commitment to expanding in the U.S. market.”
The growth of the Miami Center reflects the growth of southern Florida’s international business community as a whole. According to a recent article published by Bloomberg that calls Miami a “global hub,” “More than 700 multinational companies have been lured to the area over the past quarter-century …” The article goes on to emphasize the diversity of the region’s workforce, noting that “About half of Miami-Dade’s residents are foreign-born and more than 70 percent speak a language other than English at home.”
The diversity of the students who enroll in Manchester’s Global MBA program mirrors that of Miami itself. In 2013, enrolled students represented the countries of Canada, United States, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Gambia and Peru to name a few.
Designed for international executives, MBS Global MBA is a part-time degree completed online and in conjunction with one of seven global centers (Miami, Manchester, Dubai, Singapore, Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Sao Paulo), combining face-to-face workshops with an interactive online environment. Students can attend workshops at any location.
