Elucidate releases Electric Slide version 2. Users can now wirelessly broadcast Apple Keynote presentations from their device to any screen in the world, zoom in during broadcasts and email documents to their account.

Elucidate, makers of the popular iPhone and iPad app Electric Slide, today announced the availability of Electric Slide version 2. This version adds support for the Apple Keynote presentation format - Electric Slide’s most requested feature. The app now allows presenters to broadcast their Keynote presentations to any screen with a web browser or, alternately, via AirPlay or adapter, from an iPhone or iPad. The introduction of Keynote adds to Electric Slide’s existing support for PowerPoint presentations, documents and videos. Like the PowerPoint feature, Keynote support allows builds and animations to be viewed in a web browser or on a TV or projector, eliminating the need for a laptop, USB keys and VGA cables when presenting at meetings.

Electric Slide, launched in February of 2013, gives users the ability to broadcast PowerPoint slides, documents and videos to any screen or web browser with just an iPhone or iPad. The app enables truly mobile presenting by allowing speakers, salespeople, marketers and educators to show their content across the room or across the globe.

“We constantly get feedback from users that they love how Electric Slide has changed the way they present. Keynote support was at the top of the wish list for a lot of these users, and we’re proud to be the first app to enable broadcasting Keynote presentations from your device,” said Jim Phelan, co-founder of Elucidate.

Version 2 also adds Broadcast Zoom, an innovative feature which allows presenters to zoom in on presentations and documents as their audience sees the enlarged area in real-time. Users can call out certain material for their audience with a simple finger pinch, or, optionally, keep their zooming private to make content easier to read on small screens.

The new File Inbox feature allows users to email their documents to a special email address - Electric Slide will automatically process the documents and add them to the user’s account. Version 2 also allows users to share their presentations and documents in a web friendly format. By simply tapping the share button a link will be delivered to recipients of the user’s choosing. This web viewer link lets viewers check out a web based version of their content at their leisure and is great for following up to a meeting without having to attach bulky files to email messages.

Also introduced with this version is a monthly subscription option (in addition to the already available fixed duration options). While the app remains free, users can purchase a Pro account for $4.99 per month (discounted for a limited time) and unlock more storage space, additional concurrent viewers and other power-user features.
