At Burkey’s newly instituted Day Camp, owners can drop their puppies or adult dogs off in the morning and pick them up in the late afternoon. They will receive the same training as the dogs in the K9 Campers program, which is a board and train program where the dog spends days and nights in his home from one to four weeks and be trained in a real-world settings.

During their stay, the dogs receive training that includes socialization with people, supervised play times with other dogs, obedience training and conditioning through jogs in the park or on a professional doggie treadmill. Dog day campers come three times per week for four weeks and then qualify to continue with maintenance training and play times while dog parents are at work.

His training classes include puppy socialization and basic manners, tracking and nose work.
