TrekBeds®, America’s environmentally friendly, all U.S. made contemporary line of beds and accessories, announced that it planted 5,000 trees during 2012, with the anticipation of doubling that number by the end of 2013. TrekShops LLC, the parent company of TrekBeds.com, has been working in concert with American Forests (http://www.americanforests.org) to plant 20 trees for every TrekBed® purchased.

Samantha Fenske, CEO of TrekShops said, “One of our main focuses is to make sure the products we sell are environmentally responsible. That’s why our bed design eliminates the need for wasteful box springs, all our wood is from American, FSC certified sustainable forests and the beds are so well built we extend a lifetime warranty.”

She went on to say, “Our other main focus is that we sell products made in the USA. Every TrekBed® is made from American resources, using American Craftsmanship and know-how. I honestly don’t think there is another bed on the market that combines the quality, environmental responsibility and value of a TrekBed®."
