CUSTOMS Info Global Data Mining promoted Jennifer Harris to COO.
This new position comes as the result of the merger and reorganization of the customs compliance companies CUSTOMS Info, LLC and Global Data Mining, LLC. Jennifer Harris will be responsible for overseeing all operations of the newly merged CUSTOMS Info Global Data Mining organization including duty, tax and regulatory content, Global Trade Desktop Software and Services.
Jennifer’s prior role was that of VP of Operations for Customs Info LLC. In this role she assisted in the development of data processing tools and tracking procedures that enable us to better serve our customers.
She is focused on supporting the ongoing company strategy to provide an expanded offering of customs compliance content to include more country tariffs, preference rules, as well as increasing the frequency of updates.
“The new company enables us to eliminate our operational silos, working closer as a unified team, ultimately creating better content, software and services for our clients,” said Harris.
Prior to joining Customs Info, Jennifer was the Vice President of Audit Strategy for PRGX a global accounts payable auditing firm. She spent 20 years in that industry recovering lost funds for clients and helping them to incorporate process improvements to run their businesses more efficiently. Over her career she worked with companies in the private and public sector.
