“This is fantastic news”, says co-owner Ruben Knoetze. Co-owner George Aplas had this to say about Allora’s achievement: “We are very proud to have all three of our Allora restaurants rated as GOLD and to be featured on the Africa.com Restaurant Guide. Thank you.”

About Allora

Allora Ristorante Classico group has three sophisticated Italian restaurants, designed around the concept of a traditional Italian village. Each restaurant has a central feature, a fountain giving the distinct village charm. Accompanied by a wood burning oven, which is beautifully decorated using warm mosaic brickwork, this creates the sun-drenched effect, associated with this style of Italian eating.

Allora restaurants are casual yet sophisticated, fine dining without being pretentious. The aromas, the village atmosphere and the decor will invite you as you pass to experience this Tuscan village eating sensation.

The combination of rustic and contemporary dishes, artistically presented, will satisfy most pallets. With a menu of meat, seafood, poultry, homemade pasta and Neapolitan style pizza; you are bound to be charmed. Vegetarians will also be pleased with some delicious, creative choices on offer.

The Allora group’s three exquisite restaurants are located at corner of Bradford Road & Smith Street, Bedford Centre, Bedfordview, Johannesburg (+2711 615 9169), corner of Gwen Lane & Fredman Drive, Sandton, Johannesburg (+2711 784 2152) and 58 Main Road, Franschhoek, Cape Town (+2721 876 4375/6).
