In order to stay ahead of the competition, Semper Divina introduced two new policies this year: 110% Price Match Guarantee Policy and Backorder Policy.

The price match guarantee policy approaches price matching before and after purchases. If a customer views an item on semperdivina.com and finds the same item cheaper on another site, Semper Divina will honor its 110% price match guarantee. If a customer purchases an item and finds the same item cheaper on another site within 10 days of purchase, Semper Divina will refund 110% of the price difference. The backorder policy was created in order to reward customers for their patience in the case of low inventory or out of stock items. Once an order is received through semperdivina.com and processed, if Semper Divina must contact the customer and tell them that his or her item is currently on backorder, they can either cancel their order or receive a $10 gift certificate for waiting. If the customer chooses to receive the gift certificate, the item will remain on backorder until it is available to ship - which could be from a few days to a few months (in rare cases). If the item is cancelled after the gift certificate is rewarded, the gift certificate will be revoked. If the gift certificate is used during this time, the order may not be cancelled. In addition to the two newest policies, Semper Divina also introduced Testimonials, launched its company newsletter “The Daily Diva”, and conducted a customer service survey. Located on their home page, the implementation of testimonials allows customers to publicly review their experience with Semper Divina so others (as well as the company) know what they did or did not like about their shopping experience. Their newsletter was established in order to provide a monthly report of what Semper Divina had added or changed within the company, information on new brands or brand spotlights, and fun items for the readers such as recipes, jokes, inspirational quotes, and subscriber exclusive coupons. Last but not least, the customer service survey results allowed Semper Divina to resolve one major complaint among shoppers – the lack of back or rearview photos. The company has begun to resolve the issue by adding secondary photos to items that have the option available (availability is subject to the manufacturer).
