London (PRWEB UK) 24 May 2013
Award-winning film producer and online marketing author Hanan Kattan will be joining business luminaries like James Caan (Dragon’s Den) at the British Business Show at London’s Excel Centre on June 6th and 7th.
Hanan will present a series of Google Workshops, aimed at helping business owners use their websites to create real sales and revenue. Her first book ‘Grow Your Profits - Online Marketing Secrets That Really Work’ was recently released on Amazon, iBooks and all major platforms.
At the Business Show, the largest of its kind in the UK, Kattan aims to reach small and medium-sized business owners. "Smaller businesses who don’t have in house marketing resources are often under-served in the SEO and online marketing world but their success is vital for the economy," Kattan says. "Our aim is to give them a head start."
As an independent movie producer, Kattan used her own methods to garner over 80 million hits on YouTube for clips related to her award-winning movies, I Can't Think Straight and The World Unseen. Kattan is heading to the Cannes Film Festival at the weekend to continue production and finance on her latest film Despite the Falling Snow.
But she heads back to London in time to represent EBS Digital , a digital agency she started with her partner, writer/director Shamim Sarif, and her long time friend, Lisa Tchenguiz. Their team of 300 experts in all aspects of online marketing, from ethical Search Engine Optimisation to E Commerce website solutions, work to help businesses go to the next level.
"The statistics show the vast majority of small businesses fail within 3 to 5 years of starting," says Kattan. "My aim is to show that following a few very simple, clear processes can help you skyrocket your income."
Hanan Kattan Biography
A lifetime entrepreneur of Palestinian background, Hanan Kattan co-founded EBS Digital as an online marketing company in Surrey and London that gives small businesses the tools for outstanding growth. It is the latest addition to her Enlightenment group of companies, which include film production, film sales, a record label and publishing arm.
Her previous businesses included creating her own hair care brand, Te Tao, that launched an entirely new category of ‘premium mass’ holistic hair products which Marie Claire magazine called ‘beauty with a conscience’. Kattan grew the brand to over £4 million turnover within two years.
She is also the producer of feature films, The World Unseen and I Can’t Think Straight, which have won over 30 awards between them. Her third feature, The House of Tomorrow, was inspired by the TEDxHolyLand conference that Hanan curated with her Israeli partner under her foundation, the Sarif-Kattan Foundation.
10% of profits from EBS Digital and from the sale of Hanan's book 'Grow Your Profits' are donated to charities focused on women and children via the Sarif-Kattan Foundation
