We carry out a lot of couple related investigations and in my professional opinion a large majority of couples we deal with are not married

According to The Telegraph report by John Bingham: Almost no couples with children who stay unmarried stay together, study claims that cohabiting couples who have children are more than twice likely to split up as those who had tied the knot beforehand. The study by the Marriage Foundation also predicts that half of the children born today will have been through a family break-up by the time they are 16.
The Telegraph report goes on to say that according to figures from the office of National Statistics found that 93 per cent of couples whose relationships are still intact by the time their child is a teen are married.
Harry Benson, of the Marriage Foundation, who analysed the figures, said: “The report provides solid evidence that married parents are more stable than unmarried parents.
