Amirsys today announces the release of AnatomyOne 2.0, with exciting new enhancements for instructors and students. Instructors can use the new features to help students stay more focused through personalize learning plan templates, targeted reading assignments, and customized instructions. For students, the new AnatomyOne release provides 500 new assessment questions, 5,000 searchable anatomy glossary terms, and easier ways to make and review notes.
AnatomyOne 2.0 is the first gross anatomy resource to provide personalized learning plan templates for instructors and students. The Integrated Clinical Gross Anatomy learning plan includes regional, systemic and clinical anatomy perspectives, as well as links to the AnatomyOne dissection guide. The Gross Anatomy by Regions learning plan focuses on a regional approach to gross anatomy, walking through each region of the body. The Gross Anatomy by Systems learning plan guides students through the body systems. Then, the Gross Anatomy for PT and OT learning plan leads physical therapy and occupational therapy students through the body’s musculoskeletal and nervous systems. Instructors can start with one of four templates and adjust them to perfectly fit their courses.
“As an AnatomyOne authoring team, we have created an immense amount of anatomy information for students and faculty,” says Dr. David Morton, AnatomyOne Executive Editor and Associate Professor of Anatomy at the University of Utah School of Medicine. “But, students cannot absorb all of that material at once. They need careful guidance through the information that is relevant to the course they are taking. AnatomyOne’s learning plans give instructors the power to optimize and focus student learning activities through their own custom text.”
AnatomyOne 2.0 makes student study time more efficient and effective. Students can now search AnatomyOne’s 5,000 glossary terms to get instant answers to questions about anatomic structures. Students can also add in-line notes directly within the text so that they can more easily scan important concepts while preparing for tests.
Additionally, AnatomyOne 2.0 adds 500 new questions for students, bringing the total to over 1,700 questions. A majority of the questions are clinical anatomy-focused USMLE-style questions, so students can also use AnatomyOne to prepare for USMLE steps one and two.
