Buyers are consuming more marketing content on mobile than on a desktop, which is driving huge volumes of inbound phone calls to marketers.

RingRevenue, the leading provider of inbound call marketing automation solutions, announced today that Eric Holmen has joined its team as Chief Marketing Officer.
A 20-year marketing technology veteran, Holmen joins RingRevenue from his role as SVP of Marketing and Sales at Silverpop. Prior to Silverpop, Holmen was SVP of Wireless at Omnicom agency The Marketing Arm and also was President of mobile marketing firm Smartreply. He brings his extensive experience in SaaS, mobile and marketing automation solutions to his role as CMO, where he will be supporting RingRevenue as they expand their product focus and market leadership with Fortune 100 and Fortune 5000 companies.
RingRevenue’s technology completes marketing automation and lead management solutions by connecting and attributing phone based interactions with digital online interactions to drive better insights and conversions. With cloud-based integrations, RingRevenue makes systems like Marketo and Hubspot better for marketers and creates leverage with Salesforce.com, Netsuite and CRM systems for sales teams. Having this capability to close the loop between marketing and sales, according to Gartner analyst Chris Fletcher, drives higher-value opportunities through improved demand creation, execution and opportunity management.
RingRevenue has more than tripled its year-over-year revenue each of the past three years and has posted seven consecutive quarters of 30-plus percent quarter-on-quarter revenue growth. After securing another $3.25 million in growth capital last winter, the company has been investing heavily in it’s sales, marketing and product departments, last quarter appointing Microsoft veteran Dave Coburn as VP of Product Management and Citrix veteran Scott Douglas as VP of Sales.
“We’re excited to have Eric joining our team,” said RingRevenue CEO Jason Spievak. “We’re at the leading edge of a tremendous market opportunity. And it speaks volumes to our position in the industry that we are able to attract experienced leadership like Eric, Dave and Scott as we look toward the milestone of $100 million in annual revenue.”
Holmen makes an impressive addition to the RingRevenue team, thanks to his deep knowledge of the SaaS and marketing automation industries. Holmen attended the University of Redlands and completed his postgraduate work at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Holmen has been awarded four patents for marketing and technology processes and has been ranked three times as a president in Fortune’s “Fastest Growing Companies” annual report. In addition, he has co-authored three books focused on mobile marketing.
“The technology that buyers, marketers, and sellers are using has abruptly transformed in just the past few years,” said Holmen. “In many cases, buyers are consuming more marketing content on mobile than on a desktop, which is driving huge volumes of inbound phone calls to marketers. Meanwhile, marketers are aggressively deploying marketing automation tools to engage and prioritize the best buyers, and sales is profoundly dependent on CRM systems to manage the buyer process. As I studied these forces, it became clear that only RingRevenue sits at the confluence of these shifting forces adding value to the buyer, the marketer, and the seller.”
