Their latest hot song is called “I Will Wait.” But tickets to see English folk band Mumford and Sons on tour are doing anything but, and disappearing at a very brisk pace.

The group just scored a Grammy for Babel, Album of the Year, and Brit Award for Best British Group. They just opened their Babel Tour in Canada and are headed for the U.S., unleashing another round of top trending search traffic for seats, as per data provided by BuyAnySeat.com.

Earlier this year, they wrapped their sold out European swing, with a final concert in Oslo on April 11, 2013. Mumford and Sons' current North American trek is currently set for 25 dates and includes a headlining spot at the Bonnaroo Music Festival and a string of Gentlemen Of the Road shows.

After opening their North American tour at the Scotiabank Saddledome in Calgary, Alberta on May 21, 2013, the band hits Edmonton, Alberta and Surrey, British Columbia. They open on U.S. soil by headlining at the Sasquatch Music Festival in George, Washington on Sunday May 26.

On Memorial Day May 27, the band performs at the Rose Garden Arena in Portland, Oregon. Next on the schedule is a three-night stint at the Greek Theatre May 29 – 31 in Berkeley, California, the Glen Helen Regional Park A in San Bernardino on June 3, the Sleep Train Amphitheatre in Chula Vista on June 3.

The group then hits Phoenix, Arizona; Taos, New Mexico; Austin (two concerts), Dallas, and The Woodlands, Texas; New Orleans, Louisiana; Manchester, Tennessee; Bonner Springs, Kansas; Telluride, Colorado; Montreal, Simco, Ontario; Troy, Ohio and Guthrie, Oklahoma. The wrap is slated for a double-header at Francis Field in St. Augustine, Florida on September 13 and 14, 2013.

“Mumford and Sons has sky rocked in popularity since 2010,” said Felina Martinez at online ticket marketplace BuyAnySeat.com. “With the band’s tour already started, we’re seeing surges in traffic for Mumford and Sons tickets, and some of the venues are starting to fill up quickly.”

Mumford and Sons is a four-piece English folk band. Emerging out of the West London folk scene in 2007, members include Marcus Mumford on vocals, guitar, drums, and mandolin; Ben Lovett on vocals, keyboards, accordion, and drums; "Country" Winston Marshall on vocals, banjo, dobro, and guitar; and Ted Dwane, also on vocals, string bass, drums, and guitar.

The band’s debut album, Sigh No More, was released in 2009 and hit Number One in Ireland, Australia and New Zealand and peaked at Number Two on the U.K. Album Chart and the Billboard 200 in the U.S.

In 2010, they received two Grammy Award nominations. The group won the ARIA Music Award for Most Popular International Artist in 2010, and the Brit Award in 2011 for Best British Album. They also received the European Border Breakers Award in 2011 for their international success.

Their second studio album, Babel, was released in September 2012 and debuted at Number One in the U.K. and U.S. Billboard 200. It became the fastest selling album of 2012 in the UK, selling over 158,000 copies in its first week. It was also the biggest selling debut of any album in 2012 in the U.S., selling 600,000 in its first week, and over a million worldwide.

So far in 2013, on top of a sold out European tour, the group picked up a Grammy for best album. For the band who belts out the increasingly popular hit single “I Will Wait”, it looks like the wait for worldwide acclaim is over.
