Winfree Academy and Texas Education Centers launch 1-week donation drive in support of Moore, OK.

All of us have been deeply moved by the devastation in Moore, OK – we simply needed to find a way to help. I’m inspired by the efforts of the Winfree students and staff that have moved so quickly to make this happen.

As many organizations, companies and individuals across the nation scramble to help those affected by the EF5 tornado that has devastated Moore, OK, Dallas’ own Winfree Academy is no different. Winfree’s six campuses throughout the Dallas area have kicked off a one-week “Give Moore: Fruit by the Foot” donation campaign to collect Fruit snacks, flip flops, hand and diaper wipes and other snacks – that will be hand delivered by Winfree staff and students to the FEED THE CHILDREN Warehouse in Oklahoma City, OK for immediate distribution to Moore families.

Winfree is partnering with the Texas Education Center Charter Schools; the “Give Moore: Fruit by the Foot” campaign kicks off today and will run through this Friday, May 31st with drop-off locations at each of the Winfree Campuses located in Denton, Grand Prairie, Irving, Lewisville, North Richland Hills and Richardson.
