Manchester, NH (PRWEB) May 24, 2013
May has been declared Motorcycle Safety Awareness Month, a time when motorcyclists and bike enthusiasts show off their pride and help educate the broader community. Among those bikers will be motorcycle injury attorney John Tenn, a founder of Tenn And Tenn P.A.
Motorcycle Safety Awareness Month was created by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) along with the “Share the Road” slogan in order to encourage safe biking and raise awareness among other motorists. The purpose of the month is to reduce the number of motorcycle accidents, injuries and fatalities by promoting safe practices among all drivers.
Aside from representing motorcyclist, Tenn is a proud biker himself and says he looks forward to the group rides.
“May is a beautiful time for biking in general and a lot of us organize large rides around Motorcycle Awareness Month,” he said. “It's a time of solidarity with other bikers and it's a message that matters to all of us at Tenn And Tenn.”
As a motorcycle accident lawyer, Tenn says he frequently works with bikers who were injured in crashes that could have been prevented.
“Drivers don't always check their blind spot before changing lanes, or they don't give motorcycles enough room because we're riding smaller vehicles,” he said. “I can't tell you how many injuries I've seen that never would have happened if someone had just backed off a little.”
Tenn founded Iron Horse Lawyers, a group for attorneys who ride motorcycles. The group provides free legal resources and helps bikers and their families.
