Indianapolis, Indiana (PRWEB) May 26, 2013
The sophomore slump may seem to be nonsense, but it actually is quite real. Many young NFL quarterbacks that have a stellar rookie season seem to have some trouble in their second year. Indianapolis Colts sophomore Andrew Luck did have that great rookie season, but will he fall in 2013? Luck came into the NFL at the number 1 overall pick and was quickly snagged by the Colts. Luck was known to be best quarterback is his class, and he certainly lived up to that expectation. He lead the team to 11 wins and a spot in the playoffs, where they ultimately fell to Super Bowl champs the Baltimore Ravens. Being that teams know what to expect out of Luck this time around, the questions stands; will he fall? Luck is a fantastic player with a good head on his shoulders. If he doesn’t succumb to the pressure and plays just as well as last year, there is no reason he couldn’t lead the Colts to another playoff season. http://www.rantsports.com/nfl/2013/05/23/is-andrew-luck-too-good-for-a-sophomore-slump/
To see how Luck does in his sophomore year, go to http://www.Colts-Tickets.org. He will have a tough schedule to get through, and here is a quick preview:
In just week 3 the Colts will face Super Bowl runner up the San Francisco 49ers. These two teams did not meet last year, although they both had great seasons. It will be a good test for Luck and the team to see where they stand. In week 5 the Colts meet another top team from 2012, the Seattle Seahawks. The Seahawks bring a big and physical defense to the game, so it will be interesting to see how Luck can work around it. Then in week 7 the Colts will play at home against the Denver Broncos, an ex- quarterback Peyton Manning. It may be hard for Luck to deal with, as Colts fans still love Manning.
