New three-phase Culture of Excellence program solves two main corporate training and development problems: achieving immediate impact and creating sustainable results

Vancouver-based corporate culture and leadership consultant, Eitan Sharir, has just launched Culture of Excellence, a new series of corporate development programs. This new program series is specifically designed to address the two main challenges organization report with their corporate development and training programs: achieving an immediate impact on performance, and sustaining results over the long term.

According to Sharir, “Organizations spend a lot of money on training and developing their leaders and teams. However, they get frustrated with receiving only short-term results that quickly fall off as employees return to work and revert back to their old habits.”

After more than 18 years of research and working with leading organizations, Eitan Sharir developed a three-phase program that solves these two main corporate development challenges:

  • Phase 1: Mindset and Culture: This upfront piece is designed to change the mindset of every employee so they are engaged and aligned with the goals of the organization and prepared to learn and retain essential skills.
  • Phase 2: Skills Training: In this phase, teams learn the essential skills needed to perform their roles. This is the phase that is typical to most corporate development and training programs.
  • Phase 3: Sustaining Excellence: Team leaders are provided with specific skills to support their teams in sustaining this new standard of excellence over time.

Sharir explains, “Most training and development programs focus mainly on technical and skills training. However, what I discovered is that before employees are ready to learn new skills, they first need to have the right culture or mindset in place. And after the skills training is complete, team leaders need to be equipped with the skills to sustain their teams’ momentum over time. This new three-phase process enables them to do just that.”
