Center of the Universe Announces Its 2013 Music Lineup Today

Fremont Fair Entertainment Lineup claims the longest day of continuous music.

Making the most of the Summer Solstice, the Redhook Main Stage and Beer Garden will be open Friday and Saturday as we celebrate the Solstice until the sun goes down (11:00pm).

Fremont Fair is unveiling its complete music lineup and schedule of performances to the Universe! The complete lineup was revealed at the Nectar Lounge Fremont Fair show this Saturday night. In all, 45 acts will occupy three stages for the 3-day event, stretching a half of a mile in the heart of eccentric Fremont.

Publish the Quest and Longstride will headline the schedule on Friday night, while HAIKU-CHI plays Prince and The True Spokes, both from Seattle, are set to close out the longest day of the year on Saturday Night. The full line-up features artists for Portland, Seattle, and Puget Sound regions, including brass funk-sters Tubaluba, Acorn Project and seasoned band, Horde and the Harem, all of whom play on Sunday.

The festival lineup is available at the festival’s website at fremontfair.org. The schedule will also be printed inside the official festival guide and distributed at the event. The festival reserves the right to adjust the schedule as necessary prior to and during the event.

Making the most of the Summer Solstice, the Redhook Main Stage and Beer Garden will be open Friday and Saturday as we celebrate the Solstice until the sun goes down (11:00pm).

  •     Cover for a Cause: Rock the Solstice evening shows are a fundraiser for Fremont non-profit organizations.
  •     Yoga for the Solstice: Planet Earth Yoga brings Solstice Yoga to the Fremont Fair Sunday, June 23 at 10:30am. Grab your mat and celebrate the solstice with a hatha yoga practice in the Center of the Universe.
  •     Dog Parade: You won’t want to miss this puppy parade! Paralleling its human counterpart, the Fremont Arts Council’s Solstice Parade, fairgoers are invited to bring their four-legged friends on Sunday, June 23 at 2:30pm to participate in this fun pup procession with all proceeds benefiting COLA (Citizens for off leash areas)
  •     Fremont Abbey Arts for All: Grow your brain on the arts at Fremont Abbey Arts for All at the Fremont Fair. Activities include a growing brain sculpture, smell haiku, and paint by neighbor. Plus, live performers and bands on the Fremont Abbey Stage!
  •     Seattle Art Car Blowout: See more than 75 funky decorated art cars on display on Rocket Block (35th and Evanston). Cars travel from across the country to create the largest gathering of Art Cars in the Northwest!

The Fremont Fair always features boutique shopping throughout 5 City blocks with more than 300 booths, as well as mouthwatering food vendors for family actives, two beer gardens, and Fremont’s local dining and bar scene.

The Fremont Fair is free, open to the public, and kicks off Friday night with the Redhook Main Stage and Main Stage Beer Garden open from 4:00pm to 11:00pm and opens Saturday from 10:00am to 8:00pm with the Redhook Main Stage and Main Stage Beer Garden open late until 11:00pm.
