Having hosted and catered for haggis feasts, Indian banquets, champagne and sushi, glamourous fish and chips and of course traditional English fare, Stanwell House have become quite the professionals at spotting emerging wedding trends.

Topping off the wedding trends for 2013 is Artisan Cocktails.

Trend 1: Artisan Cocktails - Handcrafted drinks served in exciting glass-ware, think jam jars of unique flavours and tumblers of colourful icy cocktails. Being creative with these little touches gives guests something to talk about. "It’s a trend we’ve seen emerging over the Spring, so I’m sure its going to be very popular in the Summer," says Victoria Crowe, owner of Stanwell House.
Trend 2: Laser Cut paper - Laser cut Invitations, place cards and signs are all the rage this season which add a hint of creative romance to these finer details. London based offer a stunning range of gorgeous designs.
Trend 3: Dancing dress - Long gone are the days of the bride having to maneuver her huge wedding dress and train around the dance floor. These summer brides are opting to change into a dancing dress in the evening, to do just that, dance in! Considering the temperatures rise by June, a cocktail dress is a flattering and sensible option for the evening party.

The Lymington hotel offer a wealth of options to cater for Weddings. The ceremony takes place in the hotel's conservatory, a bright, elegant room with old York stone flags, stylish rattan chairs and banquettes smothered in cushions. Fully dressed or simply as it is, this room offers a romantic and original option for your special day.

Various dining options are available, from finger buffets to exotic banquets, the choice is endless and almost all requests can be fulfilled. The adjoining restaurant area is perfect for wedding parties, with wooden floors, jewel bright cushions and huge steel mirrors which look spectacular by candlelight; it overlooks the garden which is also stunningly maintained. Stanwell House Hotel can also, by prior arrangement, offer the whole hotel to be booked for the entire wedding party.

Without a marquee, the maximum capacity is 80 seated, 100+ buffet style. (Garden Marquee based weddings are by special arrangement and are subject to a full hotel booking or certain time restrictions.) Many guests do make a weekend house party out of the occasion and hire the whole hotel, which means the drinking and revelry can go on into the early hours without the worry of disturbing other guests.

Stanwell House can offer a romantic and intimate setting for a wedding supported by an experienced team of friendly and professional staff just waiting to make all weddings a day to remember.
