Resident Power Expands to NHEC Customers.

… we will be able to extend the same high level of service to NHEC customers that our current PSNH customer base has experienced.

Manchester, NH (PRWEB) May 29, 2013

NHEC residential customers have much to celebrate after a much anticipated opportunity to select an alternative electricity provider in the state of New Hampshire. Last week, Resident Power was not only able to find a home for these customers, but was also able to extend the rates of $0.0649 that it has been offering for PSNH customers in NH. The opportunity to select an alternative to PSNH has been available through the work of Resident Power for over two years, and now it’s spreading to other residential and utility territories.

Electricity in New England has been deregulated since 1999, but was only offered to New Hampshire Residents over the last two years. This offering was brought on by the efforts of Resident Power, who just celebrated its second birthday as the first to bring competitive electricity supply to New Hampshire residents.

Bart Fromuth, Managing Director of Resident Power, was exuberant in expressing what it meant to be able to offer NHEC customers an alternate supplier. “This scenario isn’t much different than the initial push to offer PSNH residential customers an alternate electricity choice, just like the rest of our great customer base, our NHEC residential customers were patient and we are very pleased that we are able to deliver this service to them.”

Even with the recent influx of competitors into the state focused on the vast customer base of PSNH and their high rates, Resident Power was able to deliver to consumers in the NHEC. When asked about the focus on PSNH Fromuth said “The way Resident Power is structured, we will be able to extend the same high level of service to NHEC customers that our current PSNH customer base has experienced.”

As information and knowledge about deregulated energy supply continues to be distributed across New Hampshire, it is expected that consumers outside of PSNH will also desire the opportunity to get cheaper electricity. Resident Power is expected to see much more demand from all consumers as this becomes a reality and is hopeful that the opportunity will be there to offer rates that will save NH residents money across the state.

Resident Power was the first electricity provider to offer lower residential electric supply rates in the State of New Hampshire. Resident Power is a New Hampshire-based company and is a member of the Freedom Logistics family of companies.
