Des Moines fitness expert and owner of Elite Edge Gym, Joe Brammer is proud to announce that they will be officially re-launching and would like to invite everyone in the Waukee community to attend. We are also proud to partner with AHeinz 57 Pet Rescue & Transport to raise funds for this great cause,” Brammer said. “Coming to the Re-Launch Event will be free, but we are asking for a minimum donation of $10.00 to participate in the charity boot camp, with 100% of the money going to the animals at AHeinz57.”

AHeinz57 Pet Rescue & Transport is committed to helping animals.

From the Heinz 57 Animal Shelter Website:

AHeinz57 Pet Rescue & Transport, Inc. is a 501(c)3, non-profit, foster-based animal rescue organization, headquartered in De Soto, IA. We are a unique rescue organization in that we exist mainly to bridge the gap between traditional animal shelters and no-kill rescues in 2 different ways: 1) By providing free transportation for dogs and cats from traditional shelters to no-kill rescues all over the Midwest and Canada. We also provide overnight rest stops for our furry travelers and temporary housing for those whose time has run out at the shelters, but have to wait for a foster spot to open up in one of the rescues; 2) By pulling dogs out of traditional shelters that are on death row and placing them in foster homes and forever homes thru our organization.

The charity boot camp will be held at 10 a.m. on June 22nd at Elite Edge Gym, located in Waukee at 495 se Alices Road Suite E, 50263. The workout is open to everyone in the community and is suitable for all fitness levels.
