Microsoft TechEd 2013

Premiere event for IT professionals

The conference represents a great platform to connect with the top leaders in the IT community and to showcase a close relation of our solution to Microsoft’s latest efforts in the field of information security.

To continue on its path of innovation in the global IT industry, SECUDE, a leading data security provider, will present its newest technological invention at Microsoft TechEd, a premiere event for IT professionals and enterprise developers, taking place in New Orleans, LA on June 3-6 and Madrid, Spain on June 25-28. Joined by its strategic partner, Synergy Advisors, SECUDE will participate in both conferences to introduce SecureDocument as a software that raises security of SAP data-on-the-move, including mobile and cloud data, by automatically applying Microsoft AD RMS protection. Throughout the event, SECUDE will showcase and demo the new technology at the Microsoft Access and Information Protection booth.

Dan Plastina, Group Manager, Information Protection at Microsoft says: “Our customers consistently tell us that their SAP servers host sensitive data and that they would like the data exported from SAP to be protected. SECUDE has created a compelling integration of Windows AD Rights Management Server within the broader SAP offer. By building on new advances in our RMS SDKs, SECUDE is not only capable of protecting Microsoft Office files, but now any relevant file type such as XML or CSVs. At TechEd I’ll be talking about information protection and share more on how solutions like these tie into common organizational topologies.”

SecureDocument represents the next generation of data security solutions that protects an often-overlooked white spot that may leave some of the most critical information vulnerable. Layered on top of the existing infrastructures, SecureDocument uses Microsoft Active Directory Rights Management Services (AD RMS) to automatically apply Information Rights Management (IRM) protection to data downloaded from SAP. The solution is specifically designed to transform isolated IT environments of SAP and Microsoft into one coherent system.

By utilizing Microsoft AD RMS, an information security technology that safeguards sensitive data from unauthorized access, SecureDocument provides continuous protection to data coming out of SAP. Now files, along with the business-critical information they contain, are securely protected no matter where they reside – inside the SAP landscape, on an employee tablet, in an email sent to a business partner, or on a USB stick. SecureDocument addresses an increased demand for security solutions that go beyond the traditional perimeter, providing comprehensive protection for data stored on-premise as well as mobile and cloud data.

“We look forward to introducing SecureDocument at Microsoft TechEd 2013”, said Michael Kummer, President of SECUDE Americas. “The conference represents a great platform to connect with the top leaders in the IT community and to showcase a close relation of our solution to Microsoft’s latest efforts in the field of information security. Key changes implemented to 2013 Microsoft AD RMS have inspired SECUDE to create a solution that pushes traditional security boundaries. Now with information protection supported on all main platforms and for all file types, along with the ability to collaborate and share securely across all borders, the potential of reinvented Microsoft AD RMS is truly astonishing. We are excited to be a part of Microsoft’s movement for providing comprehensive information security and to work hand-in-hand with them to educate IT professionals about benefits of continuous data protection.”
