Seattle catering company, Seasoned in Seattle is proud to have once again provided their usual high quality cuisine and service to the City of Seattle's "Seattle Sister Cities Reception." Beginning in 2005, Seasoned in Seattle has helped to host this popular event located in the Grand Lobby at City Hall for the 9th consecutive year. The reception was attended by over 350 guests, which included representatives from around the world, Seattle council members and Mayor Michael McGinn.
With sister cities in 21 countries, the "Seattle Sister Cities" program is intended to bring people together in celebration for "...[opening] doors to establishing meaningful and lasting global friendships, partnerships, and connections."
The 2013 reception was held on Thursday, May 9th and, like other years, chose four cities to highlight. The four sister cities being celebrated this year were: Chongqing, China; Limbe, Cameroon; Perugia, Italy; and Tashkent, Uzbekistan. The event included a raffle for such prizes as trips and delectable treats, and featured remarks by Carl Spence, the Artistic Director of the Seattle International Film Festival (SIFF).
Seasoned in Seattle provided outstanding service, as well as menu selections from around the world for this exceptional function that is held to celebrate and showcase culture and diversity.
