Workshop will provide valuable tips and tools to aspiring and veteran authors.

In a world bombarded with nonstop messages, some of the greatest reads often go unnoticed due to ineffective marketing strategies. To aid in the effort of powerful branding, the Berrett-Koehler Authors Cooperative will host a new workshop providing authors tools to market their books successfully.

The workshop, “Building a Platform Honestly, The Berrett-Koehler Way” will take place on June 28th and 29th at the Atlanta Airport Marriott Gateway Hotel located at 2020 Convention Center Concourse in Atlanta.

Veteran author and event co-chair Mark Miller says, "This workshop will provide valuable tips and tools to aspiring and veteran authors." When asked about the applicability to veteran authors, Mark responded, "Just because you published a book doesn't mean you get to quit marketing it. The only book you can stop promoting is the one that is out of print."

The workshop will offer powerhouse presentations from best selling authors such as Chip Bell, Lisa McLeod and Bill Stainton as well as many national thought leaders and consultants including Becky Robinson of Weaving Influence.

All presenters will provide practical tools and tips to maximize one’s efforts in building and maintaining their branding in a realistic way. Workshop participants will learn how to utilize a variety of dissemination methods, including platform speaking, workshops, books, blogs posts, Facebook posts, tweets, videos and more. Each attendee will receive a copy of “Platform” by Michael Hyatt. The cost to attend is $469.00.
