CorasWorks Corporation, a global leader in work management solutions on the Microsoft SharePoint platform, today announced the release of its Capture and Proposal Management Solution for Federal Government Contractors. This new solution is the capstone of the core CorasWorks solution set for Federal Government Contractors, which also includes IDIQ Task Order Management and Project & Program Management.

“The extremely high level of competition in this industry is driving organizations to find ways to heighten their competitive advantage,” said William Rogers, Chief Workplace Architect at CorasWorks. “The process of capture and proposal management is the lifeblood of the Federal Contractor. This key solution complements our IDIQ Task Order Management and Project and Program solutions for Federal Contractors to given them a powerful way to take their Business Development and Operations to a new competitive level. ”

CorasWorks Capture and Proposal Management v2.1 is a commercial, off-the-shelf solution that runs on the Microsoft SharePoint platform. It is a comprehensive, integrated, flexible solution that brings together three key elements:

  •     Capture and Proposal Management Center for managing the pipeline of opportunities/proposals through a Stage-Gate process
  •     Proposal Working Sites where the collaborative work gets done for both the capture and proposal process
  •     Proposal Asset Library, which provides central management of proposal resources, such as past performance, forms, policies, boilerplates, and graphics that are then accessible across the system.

The out-of-the-box solution feature set allows Federal Government Contractors to get working quickly at the new competitive level. The unique flexibility of the solution, powered by the market leading CorasWorks Work Management platform, allows organizations to easily custom tailor the solution and enhance and extend it on their own to meet their continued evolving needs.

“Over the years, organizations have honed their capture and proposal processes – on paper. But, for most, the supporting technology lags far behind,” said Rogers. “This contributes to lost opportunity, inefficiency, and increased risk. Our solution enables organizations to map the solution to their business processes and provides structure, visibility, and automation that helps reduce those inefficiencies, allowing a more streamlined, organized approach that provides significant competitive advantage. It also allows them to continue to enhance and extend the solution at their own pace and in their own way to stay at the top of their competitive game.”
