Step Up Women's Network will honor Emmy Award-winning actress Julie Bowen; CEO, designer and entrepreneur Trina Turk; and producer and Color Force CEO Nina Jacobson at its Inspiration Awards, May 31 at the Beverly Hilton.
The fundraising luncheon celebrates professional and philanthropic accomplishment, honoring influencers, executives and Step Up members and teens alike. This year marks the organization’s 15th year of service and its 10th annual Inspiration Awards luncheon.
“We’re excited to recognize Julie, Trina, and Nina, whose professional and philanthropic achievements have distinctly inspired women and girls,” Step Up CEO Jenni Luke said. “This year’s Inspiration Awards will showcase 15 years of Step Up’s impact of bridging communities of professional women and underserved teen girls for mentorship. Mentorship enables everyone to identify potential in each other, and this event truly ignites fulfillment of that potential.”
Actresses Ariel Winter and Carrie Fisher and InStyle editor Glynis Costin will serve as Inspiration Awards presenters.
The red carpet afternoon includes a networking reception featuring a style lounge by The Container Store and a luxury handbag and jewelry silent auction. During the program, guests will hear from Step Up’s Class of 2013, which has been sponsored this year by Lifetime Television.
