So much of what users do today involves web browsers like Opera, and there’s so much that can go wrong.
(PRWEB) May 29, 2013
PolicyPak Software, the leader in desktop management software, recently released a new Pak for Opera.
The pre-configured Pak for Opera sets and enforces expectations for user applications so they can’t work around key settings. The Pak has the same user interface as Opera itself and is easy to use. Admins can lock down key features such as “Enable Fraud and Malware Protection” so users can never use the web browser without it enabled. In addition, the Pak gives admins the ability to configure the “Accept cookies only from the site I visit” setting for users to make managing cookies more efficient. A full overview of the Pak features can be found on the PolicyPak website.
IT Admins and network administrators who want to try out the PolicyPak software can get a free trial by attending a Group Policy Webinar at the PolicyPak Website, or by calling (800) 883-8002.
Jeremy Moskowitz, Group Policy MVP and founder of PolicyPak Software said, “So much of what users do today involves web browsers like Opera, and there’s so much that can go wrong. And that’s where PolicyPak comes in.”
PolicyPak can deliver settings using Microsoft Active Directory Group Policy, Microsoft SCCM, Dell KACE, or any other management tool.
