Ambrose has been named one of the 50 Best Companies to Work for in New York State by The New York State Society for Human Resource Management (NYS-SHRM).

Ambrose is very pleased to announce that for the second year in a row, it has been named one of the 50 Best Companies to Work for in New York State by The New York State Society for Human Resource Management (NYS-SHRM). According to its annual 2013 survey, a joint awards program from the NYS-SHRM and Best Companies Group, Ambrose ranked #18 as one of the best places to work among small/medium-sized businesses in New York State.

Created in 2007, the annual awards program evaluates and ranks the best places of employment based on employee satisfaction and engagement, as well as workplace practices and policies.

Ambrose was honored at a public awards dinner held at the Albany Marriott on Tuesday, April 30, 2013. During the event, Ambrose learned its rank among 30 companies in the category for small- and medium-sized employers with 15-249 U.S. employees.

An annual two-part survey, managed by Best Companies Group, was evaluated and used to determine the rankings. Part one of the assessment included an evaluation of companies’ policies, practices and demographics. Part two of the assessment, an employee survey, included an evaluation of Leadership and Planning, Corporate Culture and Communications, Role Satisfaction, Work Environment, Relationship with Supervisor, Training and Development, Pay and Benefits, and Overall Engagement.
