The LPL financial advisors at IWM Partners are giving back to the Orange County community with a donation to Save Our Youth (SOY), a non-profit organization in Costa Mesa helping to prevent youth violence. Save Our Youth is a youth violence prevention center serving more than 700 teenagers in the low income Westside area of Costa Mesa.
The center was founded in 1993 by concerned mothers who were losing children to a growing culture of gang violence in the area. Serving youth in grades 7 through 12 in the Newport Mesa School District, the center has a wide variety of after school programming, including a female empowerment program (SOY Girls), community health and fitness programs, dance programs, sports teams, social activities, and recreational and educational field trips.
Save Our Youth also has a scholarship program, providing tutors to support students with their studies as well as scholarship money that is given in exchange for exemplary grades.

In addition to the donation to SOY, IWM Partners also recently contributed to March for Babies, a March of Dimes fundraising event helping to prevent premature birth, birth defects and infant mortality.
