Amerinet welcomed more than 1,500 healthcare professionals to its 2013 Member Conference in Orlando, Fla., May 19-22, to honor outstanding achievements among members and suppliers and to assist members along their journey to build cultures of excellence in healthcare delivery.
“Our Member Conference is a celebration of excellence for our members and suppliers, and also serves as the centerpiece of a shared dialogue on how we can collaborate to lead and transform healthcare in the pay for performance era where cost reduction and quality improvement will be the focus,” said Todd Ebert, Amerinet president and CEO.
The Amerinet Healthcare Achievement Awards, Amerinet Supplier Performance Awards and Amerinet Choice Achievement Awards were presented at a gala evening event. Member award nominees were also highlighted through a banner display, which gave conference participants an opportunity to review and discuss members’ best practice solutions.
Educational opportunities in transforming healthcare, crisis leadership and building a culture of excellence highlighted the meeting. Attendees also came together to donate more than 360 lunches to a local community food bank as part of the annual Peanut Butter and Jelly Challenge and helped raise more than $5,000 for victims of the recent fertilizer plant explosion in Texas.
This year’s tradeshow featured nearly 800 suppliers and 300 different and informative booths. Amerinet suppliers who share the company’s vision and commitment to provide unique and cost efficient, quality solutions also participated in the “reverse tradeshow,” an innovative session offering them the opportunity to learn more about Amerinet, with representatives available from Amerinet teams including from contracting, marketing, sales, affiliates and regional alliance groups.
“Amerinet would like to thank our sponsors and all those attending for another successful event,” said Ebert. “We look forward to next year’s meeting: May 20-23, 2014, in Las Vegas, Nev., at the Paris Las Vegas Hotel.
