We are committed to helping the inhabitants of Moore and the surrounding areas recover after this terrible tragedy and we will continue to help them throughout the weeks and months ahead as the healing and rebuilding efforts take shape.

Conexus, a premiere third-party supply chain logistics company serving the United States, Canada and Mexico, is familiar with disaster relief, especially when it comes to tornadoes. In November 2011, when Joplin, Missouri was devastated by a tornado, Conexus donated trucks and coordinated the transportation of goods and supplies from the Habitat for Humanity site in Tulsa, OK, to the rebuild site in Joplin. Conexus employees later joined the effort to help rebuild homes in the Joplin community. So when Conexus heard of the damage done to its neighbors in Moore, Shawnee, and other surrounding areas in Oklahoma, in May of 2013, Conexus was quick to organize aid.
In the days immediately following the tornadoes, Conexus employees collected and donated water, Gatorade, baby food, diapers and wipes, gloves, hand sanitizer and other necessities to aid in the relief efforts. In addition, Conexus employees pooled together funds and donated to the Red Cross.
“As fellow Oklahomans, we are no strangers to extreme weather conditions” said Kyle Gholston, Vice President of Conexus. “But when that weather leads to tragedies like these we feel compelled to assist our neighbors in any way we can because we know that ultimately, the tornadoes that hit Moore could have touched down anywhere. We are committed to helping the inhabitants of Moore and the surrounding areas recover after this terrible tragedy and we will continue to help them throughout the weeks and months ahead as the healing and rebuilding efforts take shape.”
