American Textile Recycling Services (ATRS) is proud to bring the “ROCK, RUN, RECYCLE” campaign to the Rock n’ Roll San Diego Marathon & ½ Marathon benefitting the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

As the exclusive textile recycler for the Rock ‘n Roll Marathon, ATRS Recycling will collect dropped running gear from the race, effectively clearing the route in front of waste disposal trucks and diverting textiles from San Diego landfills. ATRS will host a booth at the Health & Fitness Expo to educate participants, families and the local community about its textile recycling mission. The Expo will attract approximately 30,000 marathoners and attendees. Participants are encouraged to clean out their closets and drop off unwanted running gear, shoes and clothing to the ATRS Recycling Expo booth. The program supports Giving Children Hope and it’s much needed school lunch and backpack program for over 1500 underprivileged children in Southern California.
