Noritake is thrilled to announce the launch of their redesigned tableware website. Now live at NoritakeChina.com, the site combines enhanced features and product interaction with social sharing and interactivity among family and friends. In addition, a partnership with MyRegistry.com has been integrated into the site for ease in wedding and gift registry.
“For more than a century, Noritake has helped make setting the table an art. Our patterns and collections are ideally suited to any dining experience, be it casual or elegant. The newly designed website is a representation of Noritake’s knowledge of the needs and desires of the tableware customer, whether it is a couple creating their wedding gift registry, or an individual looking for dinnerware that matches his or her lifestyle and personal aesthetic. The enhancements to the site make for easy browsing and for a trouble-free shopping experience,” says Peter Goldberger, Executive Vice President.
The launch of the new tableware website marks a complete overhaul of the previous product display method, enhancements to existing site features, and the debut of new features and content. Product pages have been introduced for each individual item, offering shoppers much more versatility in searching for specific items, such as platters or place settings. Shopping by collection, style, and items on sale is now much easier for the user. The new website navigation is much more detailed, showcasing this improved system. The previously successful filtering system for search results has been retained and made even more robust.
The Help & Learn section provides site visitors with basic information on customer service, retail locations and return policies, and also offers extensive information on the origins of fine dinnerware. Noritake’s blog, The Noritake Dish, has been fully integrated into the Magento-powered website, allowing blog readers to move easily between reviewing blog content and shopping.
A partnership with MyRegistry.com is a perfect addition to the website, to offer registry capability for weddings and events without causing confusion. “MyRegistry.com offers a universal registry experience for those shopping online, without the difficulty of having to create multiple registries. We had previously avoided a registry function for this reason, but the MyRegistry.com engine is the perfect fit for Noritake and our customers,” says Jamie Sanford, Internet Marketing Manager.
Future plans for NoritakeChina.com include a mixing and matching tool, a Pinterest contest, collaborations with wedding and lifestyle bloggers, and more.
