Award-Winning Program Will Feature Topics on How to Avoid Communication Pitfalls and How to Explain What Makes Your Business a Compelling Venture

The Irvine Chamber’s Micropreneur® Program http://www.irvinemicropreneur.com, is designed to teach entrepreneurs and small business owners how to raise capital, market their products, develop new business opportunities, manage finances and plan for greater prosperity. The June webinar lineup will feature topics on using communication to increase profits, how to impress investors, a one-on-one with a venture capital expert and followed by an entrepreneurs roundup where four companies present their innovative ideas and concepts for 10 minutes each. The webinars are free for all to attend, and take place every Thursday from 12pm-1pm.

“Clear Communication Grows Your Business and Increases Profits”
Speaker, trainer, author and Professor Dr. Patty Malone shows how to communicate clearly and reduce mistakes, build trust, and strengthen relationships with clients and leads.

“How to Impress Investors in 90 Seconds or Less”
Bill Waldo, a successful entrepreneur, investor and a member of California SBDC TriTech will help participants craft an initial winning impression with investors.

June 20, 2013

KEYNOTE EVENT

“Ask Me Anything”
Venture capital, financing, and business expert Susan Schreter in a town hall-styled question and answer session, will respond to questions regarding successful entrepreneurship, venture capital, and business management.

June 27, 2013

“Entrepreneurs Roundup”
Four companies will present their innovative ideas and concepts for 10 minutes each followed by a Q&A from the audience. Audiences are encouraged to tune-in and learn about cutting edge business opportunities by interacting with new companies before they become household names.

The free Micropreneur® Webinars are scheduled for every Thursday, 12pm to 1pm and feature a different topic each week.
