These new food-safe dies and folders along with the Spellbinders Sweet Accents Cake Designing Machine will bring fabulous ideas and inspiration for cake and baking enthusiasts everywhere!

Debbie Coughlin, owner of Icing Images, is meeting with with Stacey Caron, the President and Co-Founder of Spellbinders this week to assist with the development of the new dies and embossing folders for the recently released Spellbinders Sweet Accents cake decorating machine. The meeting will yield 15 new dies and one new embossing folder to be released before the International Cake Exploration Societe Convention in Lexington, KY on August 8-11, 2013.

The new dies will add more variety to what sugar artists can create with the Spellbinders Sweet Accents cake designing machine. All the dies now available as well as the new dies will have the patented ability to cut, emboss and stencil with one die. Embossing plates add depth and dimension to Premium Icing Sheets™ from Icing Images.

"These new food-safe dies and folders along with the Spellbinders Sweet Accents Cake Designing Machine will bring fabulous ideas and inspiration for cake and baking enthusiasts everywhere!” said Caron.

The Spellbinders Sweet Accents uses the dies to cut out shapes from Premium Icing Sheets. Embossing folders are also used to add patterns and depth to the icing sheets.

"In development of these new dies, we are taking standard dies and developing them into a food safe tool for sugar artists to use safely for cake and confection decorating," said Coughlin.

Dies for the cutting machine are broken down into the three different skill levels of beginner, intermediate and advanced. The basic dies stack one inside the other, giving solid shapes as well as outlines from icing sheets. These basic dies can also be used with gumpaste and isomalt. The intermediate and advanced dies consists of butterflies, leaves, flowers and other various shapes and designs.

Spellbinders Grand Templates™ are larger dies also available for bigger applications on icing sheets as well as gumpaste and isomalt.
