Statistics show that sleep apnea affects nearly 100 million people worldwide. Research is now finding that increased levels of fat in the liver may be partly to blame, making weight loss supplements such as Liproxenol valuable to getting quality, restful sleep.
In March, 2013 by the US National Library of Medicine National Institutes of Health published a study involving 81 participants. Twenty-two of them were middle aged males with sleep apnea, 20 were post-menopausal females who also had apnea, and the remaining 39 subjects (19 male and 20 female) were used as controls.
Researchers studied these individuals during the course of four nights spent in a sleep lab. Each person’s abdominal fat (also known as visceral fat) and subcutaneous adipose tissues were measured before and after the testing.
They found that the males who suffered from sleep apnea had higher levels of abdominal fat whereas the women who had it had higher levels of visceral fat. Both groups had higher levels of liver fat than the controls.
They suggest that helping men lower the amount of visceral, or abdominal fat that they have may alleviate sleep apnea; whereas women only need a general reduction of overall body fat to obtain positive sleep benefits. This means that weight loss supplements, such as Liproxenol, might help individuals overcome this major sleep-related condition.
Liproxenol is a weight loss supplement that contains all natural ingredients such as green tea, vitamin B6, cayenne powder and dandelion root. It was created by Liproxenol Nutraceuticals to increase metabolism, decrease appetite and burn excess fat.
