Procura, standing by their belief in supporting the communities where they operate, sponsored the 5th Annual Butterfly Ball, hosted by Children’s Health Foundation of Vancouver Island. Procura for Pediatrics is a fully integrated back office, clinical and mobile software solution that recognizes the special rewards and challenges that come from caring for children and youth living with medical illnesses.
The Butterfly Ball is an annual fundraiser, bringing together fathers and daughters for a silent auction and ball to raise money to help children in need. All proceeds raised from the 5th annual Butterfly Ball went to support the Children’s Health Foundation of Vancouver Island’s Bear Essentials Program. The Bear Essentials Program helps to pay for travel expenses, medical equipment, or special formula for children with special needs. The Bear Essentials Program also assists families when unexpected or extraordinary expenses related to their child’s health and special needs arise.
“The work that Children’s Health Foundation of Vancouver Island does to improve the health and wellbeing of children suffering with medical illnesses on Vancouver Island is unsurpassable. We are proud that we could make a contribution to help support their programs to thrive and grow,” says Warren Brown, President of Procura. “Supporting a vital nonprofit organization, such as Children’s Health Foundation of Vancouver Island, helps to reiterate our commitment to understanding the importance of providing care for medically fragile children and youth. The work that Children’s Health Foundation of Vancouver Island does for our local community is instrumental in providing support and services to children suffering with medical illnesses.”
