Walking For Equal Rights. One Man, Two Feet, Equality!

“The Walking Man” in association with http://www.walk2equality.com have announced their first walk to promote equality amongst the human race. “The Walking Man” will be walking from West Hollywood To San Francisco with nothing more than a backpack and some key essentials. There will be no planned route except for that of traveling by way of PCH ( 1 ) unless unable to do so. This is a walk for equality and human rights. With the supreme court decision on prop 8 & DOMA to fall later in the month of June, they want to walk to promote equality among all humans.

The walk will start at The Abbey, located in West Hollywood, CA at approximately 2pm Pacific Coast Time. The walking man will then walk up the PCH only stopping when necessary for either supplies and or rest. The PCH is riddled with hills and danger around every corner and therefore there may be some slight alterations in the path to assure his safety. The walk alone is hard enough therefore when there is no shoulder, he will travel where there is one. The walk will help promote equality amongst a world of inequality.

After arrival in San Francisco’s, Golden Gate Park, “The Walking Man” will then fast until the decision has been made on Prop 8. He welcomes all walkers willing to tough the challenge and stand up for the rights of the human race. Once the fast is over he will be making several appearances in the annual pride parade and will be helping to spread the word about equality and its importance on a global level.

“The Walking Man” has gained multiple sponsors for the walk and is currently procuring more. The cause is beyond him and therefore he feels the need to ignite the spark for equality.
