TrackingPoint is known for creating the world's first smart rifle, but that is simply the first step in the journey of our company.

TrackingPoint shipped its first products to customers Wednesday, May 15th, announced their new CEO Jason Schauble on May 16th, and now has launched a new regular blog featuring a look inside the ground-breaking technology company. The goal of the project is to increase awareness of the innovative side of TrackingPoint and the team of scientists, engineers, developers and designers who are creating the roadmap for the future of firearms and beyond.

New CEO Jason Schauble said, "TrackingPoint is known for creating the world's first smart rifle, but that is simply the first step in the journey of our company. TrackingPoint Labs will show you what we're thinking about in terms of technology products, apps, and features to enhance the shooting experience, and hopefully inspire both our visitors and our staff to focus on the right opportunities soonest."

The first new post features a comprehensive look inside the Texas facility where staff running the range, from scientists who worked on the space station, to laser experts, to ex-military sharpshooters, develop, engineer, manufacture, and test TrackingPoint products. This marks the first time any press or photographer has been allowed to document the space.

On the schedule for upcoming posts are a comprehensive photo complications of existing Precision Guided Firearms systems, a look inside the inspiration for the VentureX collaboration with Remington Arms, and the online debut of the 2013 TrackingPoint product catalog.

TrackingPoint is the Austin, TX based applied-technology company that invented the world's first Precision Guided Firearm, the long range rifle that ensures high first shot success probability at extreme distances for shooters.
