"Real Estate Investor Clubs are the best place to learn how to make money" Josh Caldwell President of the Pittsburgh Real Estate Investors Association
Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) June 07, 2013
For the first time since the organization was founded the National Real Estate Investor’s Association annual mid-year leadership conference will be held in Pittsburgh, PA. One of the main reasons that Pittsburgh was chosen is because of the strong support for local investors and the local investment club’s support of National REIA. Pittsburgh is the home of the Western Pennsylvania Real Estate Investor’s Association, also known as WPREIA. WPREIA is one of the many real estate investor’s clubs that make up the body of the National REIA.
National REIA was formed by a group of club leaders in the mid 1980’s at an informal gathering in New Orleans. The group has grown to include over 40 real estate investor clubs from across America. This quote taken form the National REIA web site encapsulates the group nicely, “The National Real Estate Investors Association is a 501 (c) 6 trade association. We are a federation made up of local associations or investment clubs throughout the United States. We represent local investor associations, property owner associations, apartment associations, and landlord associations on a national scale. Together we represent the interests of approximately 40,000 members across the U.S. As such, we are the largest broad based organization dedicated to the individual investor.”
Every year, the National REIA hosts a mid-year leadership conference to help the member clubs evolve into the sort of organizations that better serve their membership. This year, the event will be held at the Station Square section of Pittsburgh, at the Sheraton Hotel Station Square. Meetings and presentations will kick off on June 20th and conclude on the 23rd.
The goal of this meeting is to present successful strategies for club growth and new educational methods for the members. National REIA is tasked with gathering and disseminating the newest techniques in organizational leadership. This resource is generally beyond the capability of most small club leaders. There is a great deal of value that is presented to those in attendance.
Special networking events will be the highlight of this conference. This convention is a rare opportunity for club leaders to get to know each other and to exchange ideas about how to better grow their diverse clubs. Real estate investor clubs from all across America are expected to attend.
According to Josh Caldwell of Caldwell Holdings LLC, the current President of the Pittsburgh based investor’s club, “Having the national organization hold their convention in our city is a feather in our collective cap. Many cities tried to bring this meeting to their home, but the activities of our club combined with the exciting real estate market, and the beauty of the city sealed the deal for Pittsburgh.” The Pittsburgh real estate market is one of the top five real estate markets in the United States. I personally plan to use this event to introduce Zebulon Technologies, the new marketing branch of my real estate business. This company came into being because other real estate investors wanted to know about the successful marketing efforts of the Pittsburgh club.
Tickets for this event are available to members of the various investor clubs around the country that are part of the National REIA. Details can be found on the national organizations web site NationalREIA.com.
