Pingar Inc, a leading provider of text analytics software tools and solutions in the North American market, today announced that it had recruited e-Discovery industry veteran, Bill Pieser, as VP e-Discovery Solutions.
Pieser brings to Pingar’s partners and clients the benefit of 25 years of product development experience from both sides of the process: as an engineering and software development leader, and senior product marketing executive. Prior to joining Navigant, Pieser spent three years as Vice President and Chief Technology Officer at LexisNexis Inc, the leading publisher to the legal market and provider of business and personal information products.
Peter Wren-Hilton, CEO of Pingar, says that the recruitment of Pieser is an important milestone in the Company’s expansion into the e-Discovery space and an important validation of its Go to Market strategy.
“Bill brings to Pingar a deep understanding of both the technical and the market opportunity that text analytics software tools and solutions offer practitioners operating in the e-Discovery sector. His vision and experience provide Pingar with a thought leader who can conceptualize and then execute emerging solutions and architectures that will significantly enhance and improve corporate information discovery”. Mr. Wren-Hilton continues.
Pieser, who prior to his work in e-Discovery has built successful product delivery organizations and numerous acclaimed product releases at Adobe, Epicor, and Hughes Aircraft; will focus on the range of text analytics applications spanning the e-Discovery Reference Model.
“I am delighted to be joining Pingar and look forward to working with the global team to develop new approaches to some lingering e-Discovery challenges made possible by the integration of Pingar’s advanced natural language processing and machine learning algorithms. This emerging technology stack offers exciting new opportunities to significantly advance and improve traditional e-discovery processes and outcomes when dealing with unstructured big data volumes ”, says Mr. Pieser.
