The European Commission Delegated Regulation on Energy labelling featured an image of a radiator with a cross through it.
(PRWEB UK) 4 June 2013
The article EC Symbol Ruling “Victory”, published 30th May in HVP explains that the ruling is considered a success for the industry as the labelling incorrectly suggested to users that modern steel panelled radiators would not be suitable for use with low water temperature technology. The European Commission Delegated Regulation on Energy labelling featured an image of a radiator with a cross through it.
Manufacturing Association of Radiators and Convectors (MARC) chairman, John Colling explained that “the idea of a label of this nature was completely misguided, because modern steel-panel radiators are as efficient, if not more so, than other emitter types when it comes to working with low water temperatures.”
