Brooklyn, NY (PRWEB) June 03, 2013
Educational Housing Services, Inc. (EHS) is pleased to announce the establishment of the EHS Academic Achievement Award (AAA) which enables a student, residing at the EHS St. George residence in Brooklyn Heights to receive up to $4,000 in awards as a credit to reduce dorm costs.
The Academic Achievement Award is a three year program that will begin in September 2013 and extend through May, 2016. Residents must be a full time student enrolled at a two or four year institution of higher education to become eligible to participate in this program, which is unique to EHS.
"We at EHS have long valued academic achievement and created this opportunity as a way to reward residents who are working hard to achieve their dreams," explains Mr. Jeffrey Lynford, President & CEO of EHS.
The Academic Achievement Award (AAA) is based on a participating student, who meets the Eligibility Requirements below, earning a minimum GPA of 3.5 for the 2013/14 and 2014/15 academic years. If a minimum GPA of 3.5 is achieved in 2013/14 and the other Eligibility Requirements are satisfied, then EHS will award the student a $2,000 credit toward 9 month housing at St. George Hotel for the 2014/15 academic year. If the student maintains a 3.5 GPA through the 2014/15 academic year, then the award winning student will have their choice of either a $1,000 cash award, or a $2,000 credit towards 9 month St. George Hotel housing for the 2015/16 academic year.
