Having a low VOC level was very important to us as it demonstrates our company is committed to the health of our customers and the environment.

Texas-based Ready Seal, the semi-transparent stain and sealer for wood used by professional contractors nationwide, is proud to announce its product now has lower Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) levels at under 100 Grams/Liter. Ready Seal chose to develop their product well under the current U.S. EPA National AIM Rule of 250 Grams/Liter. This allows Ready Seal’s product to be used in every state including California. In addition to its latest achievement, Ready Seal has introduced new, five-gallon containers made entirely out of recyclable metal.

Ready Seal’s stain and sealer in one is ideal for any exterior wood project. Ideal for log cabins, outdoor furniture, fences, decks and gazebos. Ready Seal’s GOOF PROOF™ system provides professional results every time. Now with a VOC level at under 100 Grams/Liter, more professionals around the nation can enjoy the stain and sealer.

“Having a low VOC level was very important to us as it demonstrates our company is committed to the health of our customers and the environment,” said Ready Seal Marketing Director, Jeff Vosburg. “Because we believe our stain and sealer product is the best for any outdoor wood project, we continue to find ways to make our product attractive to customers.”

About Ready Seal

Ready Seal is a GOOF PROOF™, professional-grade wood stain and sealer designed for professional results every time. Prior to 1992, the creator of Ready Seal spent many years developing a consumer-friendly stain and sealer. Its unique formulation allows for deep penetration to moisturize the wood with water-proofing oils. This creates a flexible barrier that keeps out moisture, mold and fungi, and offers better UV protection than surface coatings that will crack, chip, flake and peel. Demand has grown and Ready Seal is expanding into more market areas across the United States. For more information contact Ready Seal via telephone 1-888-STAIN-4U or visit
