Marketer of the Year Honors Earned by Sentry Management, Inc.

Sentry Management is recognized with the "Critics Choice" Marketer of the Year award from the American Marketing Association, Central Florida Chapter.

Sentry Management, Inc. has been named 2013 “Marketer of the Year” among large companies located in Central Florida. (Sentry won in the large company category called “Critics Choice”.) The awards, which are designed to recognize and applaud marketers for achieving outstanding results from initiatives originating in Central Florida, focus on companies that emphasize and implement excellence in their marketing programs every day of the year. The award, which will be given at a lunch ceremony on June 6, is annually presented by the Central Florida Chapter of the American Marketing Association. All applicants are required to submit a comprehensive application and winners are selected by an impartial panel drawn from institutions of higher education.

“Our marketing effort has become increasingly more important to Sentry Management as we grow,” says James W. Hart, President. “We have added divisions in Arizona, New Mexico, Maryland, Missouri and Virginia in the last three years and the need to quickly gain visibility for our brand is critical. We are pleased the American Marketing Association saw fit to recognize us for the success we have had in sales and marketing.”

The judges based the selection of Sentry Management on the cohesive overall effort. In particular, they lauded:

  • Consistency of brand across all marketing communications
  • New ads and email marketing campaigns
  • Outstanding website, SEO and social media efforts
  • Innovative lead generation strategy
  • Thoughtful use of public relations and article placement
